Pumpkin Patch

This year, the Mabolo Street Pumpkin Patch in Dasmarinas Village was well picked over by the time we arrived. Being the only place in town that arranges for expats to enjoy a slice of home by partnering with a local farm, it's an excellent venue for the Girl Scouts troop to raise money for their activities. We left with one tiny pumpkin and two tiny gourds. We plan to draw faces on them with permanent marker - one for Mom, one for Dad and one for Ace. Hilarious.

You got lucky, Ace. You picked out two sugar cookies - a witch's broom and a ghost, along with a cupcake for later. You gobbled the cookies up as you sat on pumpkins, posed for a few shots with some endearingly silly faces and tried helping Daddy push some of the bigger pumpkins around. It was a nice change from the weekend routine and we were happy we got some fun photos to remember it by.
