Today was your first official day at "school." You are going to Toddlers in Salcedo Village every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30-10am to socialize with other kids, to explore new things and to develop your emotional side. We want you to have lots of fun with Teacher Elaine, Teacher Blessy and Yaya Grace so that you can continue growing and learning. 
We have watched you the last couple of days as you were settling in and you are quite hilarious. You like to just observe and we have a feeling it is stimulation-overload for you right now. We think you'll get used to all the talking and singing and shouting of the other kids. We think you'll get used to sitting in Circle Time and listening to stories you haven't chosen yourself and interacting with others and learning to share. We think you'll get used to playing more independently and using your words. We think you'll get used to these things and love going to "school" everyday.
You are super cute to watch from a distance in your little chair as you eat your snack and as you back up into one of the teachers' laps for story time and as you follow along in new activities with your eyes, not quite comprehending the different routines.
We can't believe you are going to "school" already. We wanted you to try something new, and as Mommy and Daddy make the transition back to work, we wanted you to have a chance to become familiar in a new setting.
