For the holidays this year, we were lucky to spend two weeks in Vietnam with some very close friends of ours, who teach in China. We met in Ninh Binh Province, south of Hanoi. We stayed there for a week before traveling on to Sapa, a small mountain town.

Tuk-tuking in Hanoi
A few low-lights included: a gouged out ankle from bike spokes, your consistent complaints about walking and your whinging over food.
A few high-lights included: playing outdoors every day with new friends and finding new things to explore (a stump, a goat, sticks, rocks and mud), sliding down a major dirt hill (laughing all the way hahaha!), treats like hot chocolate and holiday movies, a surprise birthday cake and a special Christmas morning in the mountains.
Our trip to Vietnam was certainly enjoyable and a wonderful balance between recreation and relaxation. We love the memories that you have and continue to talk about with us.
Happy Holidays, Ace Man!
