Cebu

At the end of February, Daddy wanted to go rock climbing at one of the best spots in the Philippines: Cebu. It just so happens that on that same weekend, a bunch of our friends were going to Cebu to stay at the Shangri-la. So, while Daddy went "rock-timbing!", you and I spent three days playing in the pool and hanging out with the Feren Five, Simon and Kelly, and the Wintons at the Shang.

You couldn't get enough of the toddler water park. At first, you were timid to ride the waterslide. But Tita Kristen encouraged you and knew that you would do it with some prodding. As soon as you slipped down the first one, you wanted to do it again and again and again. 

It was so much fun to spend a whole weekend with you and to watch you play in the pool. You got really good at jumping into the water, blowing bubbles with your mouth and "swimming" by moving your hands and kicking your feet. You adored all of the older kids, even the ones you didn't know. I love your confidence in meeting new people. It is as if everyone is your friend, and why shouldn't they be? You continue to be super curious and observant of everything going on around you.
